My Process
Original Website: Homestead Farm
Website of a local farm and orchard in Maryland
What I did and why:
Explored the current website
Why: To identify the changes I want to make and improve upon
Began wireframing the redesign page by page
Why: To get my initial ideas going and to set up the layout of the first iteration
Began designing and prototyping the first iteration
Why: To get my initial ideas designed and completed
Conducted user testing with three users on the current Homestead Farm Website as well as on my first iteration redesign
Why: To compare the original website to my redesign and to identify further improvements to be made
Iterated on the first version based on the user feedback I gathered
Why: To improve the design in the second iteration
Conducted user testing on the current Homestead Farm Website as well as on the second iteration redesign
Why: To compare the original website to the redesign and to identify further improvements to be made
Iterated on the second version based on the second round of user feedback I gathered
Why: To improve my design in my third and final iteration
Implemented all feedback and observations into the final version of my redesign
